Lloyds Metals Q1FY27: Iron Ore Production Up 53% YoY to 6.05 MNT

Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd has announced its Q1FY27 operational update, reporting its highest ever Q1 production for iron ore at 6.05 million tonnes, a significant 53% year-on-year increase. DRI production surged by 131% YoY to 182,000 tonnes, and pellet production reached 1.7 million tonnes. The company also achieved its first copper output from Surya mines, totaling 2,754 tonnes, positioning itself as India's first mine-to-market copper producer. These strong operational performances across key segments indicate robust growth and successful ramp-up of new facilities, including the 4 MNT pellet plant.
