Mahindra Holidays Receives ₹11.33 Cr GST Show Cause Notice

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd has received a Show Cause Notice (SCN) from the Central GST Audit, Commissionerate, Dehradun, demanding ₹11,33,69,421. This demand pertains to FY 2020-21 to 2023-24 and includes tax and a penalty, primarily due to alleged short payment of tax on supply of services and differences in turnover. The company, however, based on its assessment and legal advice, does not expect any material financial impact and is pursuing legal remedies.
