YKK India to set up $150M manufacturing facility at Origins by Mahindra

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd announced that YKK India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Japan's YKK Corporation, will establish a new manufacturing facility at Origins by Mahindra, Chennai. This facility, YKK India's third in the country, will span approximately 149,936 square meters with an investment of USD 150 million and is expected to be completed by February 2028. The move strengthens Origins by Mahindra's position as a preferred destination for international manufacturing investments, joining other global manufacturers. The facility will leverage the integrated industrial cluster's infrastructure and connectivity to support growing domestic demand and export markets.
