Mangalam Cement's Solar Power Supply Commences from 15.17 MW Plant

Mangalam Cement Ltd has announced the successful commissioning of a 15.17 MW (AC) / 22 MW (DC) solar power plant by Suryadeep RJ-1 Projects Private Limited in Barmer, Rajasthan. This project operates under the Group Captive Generation Mechanism through an Open Access Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Plant developed on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis. The supply of solar power to Mangalam Cement commenced on August 6, 2026, following the effectiveness of Short-Term Open Access (STOA). This initiative is expected to reduce power costs and increase the share of renewable energy in the company's total power mix.
