Medplus Subsidiary Faces 3 Drug License Suspensions

Optival Health Solutions Private Limited, a subsidiary of Medplus Health Services Ltd, has received three suspension orders for its drug licenses. The suspensions are for two days each and affect stores located in Gulbarga, Karnataka; Ram Anjaneya Road Hanumanth Nagar, Karnataka; and Channapatna Ramanagar, Karnataka. These actions were taken by the Assistant Director of the Drugs Control Administration in respective circles. The company cited potential revenue loss amounting to approximately ₹2.30 lacs across the three affected stores due to these suspensions, which are based on alleged violations of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules, 1945.
