MCX Appoints Ramesh Varakhedkar as Chief Business Officer

Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) has announced the appointment of Mr. Ramesh Varakhedkar as its Chief Business Officer and a Key Management Personnel. The appointment is effective September 28, 2026. Mr. Varakhedkar brings over 30 years of diversified experience in the financial sector, having previously held leadership roles at ICICI Securities Ltd. as Head – Commodities Business, and also worked with Karvy Stock Broking Ltd., Metropolitan Stock Exchange Ltd., Citibank, and ICICI Bank Ltd. This appointment is in compliance with SEBI regulations.
