The company stated that the complaint originated from an unverified social media account. Nestle India sought the complaint sample multiple times but did not receive a response. However, a reference sample from the same batch, tested by an independent FSSAI-notified lab, was found to be free of infestation. The company has submitted a detailed representation with supporting documents to the authorities.
