NIBE Ltd Secures ₹563.35 Cr Indian Army Contract for 'Vayuastra'

NIBE Limited has signed a significant contract with the Indian Army for the supply of its "Vayuastra" Loitering Munition System. The company has secured the L2 vendor share, valued at approximately ₹563.35 crore. This procurement is under the Fast Track Procurement (FTP) route, highlighting the Indian Army's focus on rapid deployment of combat-ready indigenous platforms. The "Vayuastra" is a man-portable, precision-guided munition designed for high-value targets. This contract is expected to bolster NIBE's defence order book and aligns with the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Make in India' initiatives in the defence sector. Deliveries are slated to commence as per the agreed contractual schedule.
