NIIT Appoints Anish Sarkar as Chief Executive Officer

NIIT Limited has announced the appointment of Anish Sarkar as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 14, 2026. Sarkar, an experienced leader in technology, digital services, and human capital consulting, succeeds Pankaj Jathar. His appointment is expected to drive NIIT's next phase of growth, strengthen its offerings, and advance its AI-led learning initiatives. Sarkar's prior roles include leadership positions at Pluxee (formerly Sodexo BRS) and Mercer India, where he focused on revenue growth and strategic acquisitions. He is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta.
