NLC India Appoints Poonam Chandrakar as Independent Director

NLC India Ltd has announced the appointment of Shri Poonam Chandrakar as a Non-Official Independent Director to its Board of Directors. The appointment, made by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, is effective from July 16, 2026, for a term of three years or until further orders. Shri Chandrakar is an experienced public administrator with over two decades of expertise in governance and policy implementation. The company affirms that he is not debarred from holding such an office by any regulatory authority.
