NMDC Ltd: Sarita Chauhan Appointed Government Director

NMDC Ltd has announced the appointment of Ms. Sarita Chauhan as a Government Director on its Board of Directors. The appointment, effective October 12, 2026, was communicated by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. Ms. Chauhan, who is the Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Steel, belongs to the 1999 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (AGMUT Cadre). She is not related to any existing Directors and is not disqualified from holding the office of Director under the Companies Act, 2013, nor is she debarred by any regulatory authority.
