These prices are FOR (Freight on Road) and exclude various taxes and fees including Royalty, DMF, NMEDT, Cess, Forest Permit Fee, transit fee, GST, and environmental Cess. NMDC Ltd reported provisional iron ore production and sales figures for April 2026. Production increased to 4.64 MT from 4.00 MT in April 2025, a 16% YoY increase. Sales rose slightly to 3.68 MT from 3.63 MT in the same period last year, a 1.4% YoY increase. Chhattisgarh production increased from 2.85 MT to 3.66 MT, while Karnataka production decreased from 1.15 MT to 0.98 MT. Sales in Chhattisgarh increased from 2.82 MT to 3.16 MT, while sales in Karnataka decreased from 0.81 MT to 0.52 MT.

NMDC Ltd announced the conclusion of Shri Sanjay Tandon's tenure as a Non-Official Independent Director on its Board. His re-appointment, as per a Ministry of Steel order dated April 15, 2025, was for a period of one year from that date, or until further orders. Accordingly, his term ended on April 14, 2026. NMDC Ltd, in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, has released the provisional details of Production & Sales of Iron Ore for and up to the month of March 2026 for FY 2025-26. The total production stands at 53.15 MT, a increase from 44.07 MT in the previous year. Similarly, total sales have increased from 44.40 MT in the previous year to 50.23 MT in the current year. The production and sales in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka have also seen an increase.
