Novartis India Signs Exclusive Promotion Deal for Retina Portfolio

Novartis India Limited has entered into an Exclusive Promotion and Distribution Agreement with Novartis Healthcare Private Limited (NHPL) for its retina portfolio in India. The agreement, effective September 8, 2026, grants Novartis India the rights to exclusively promote and distribute NHPL's products Accentrix® (ranibizumab) and Pagenax® (brolucizumab). This strategic move marks Novartis India's entry into the ophthalmology therapy area and aims to expand its commercial offerings. The upfront consideration for this agreement is INR 10 Crores. The deal is structured to support the company's growth in a new therapeutic segment.
