NTPC Green Energy Adds 66.7 MW Capacity to Renewable Portfolio

NTPC Green Energy Ltd announced that a fourth part capacity of 6.3 MW of its Vanki Wind Energy Project and the first part capacity of 50.4 MW of its Jamjodhpur Wind Energy Project have been declared commercially operational. These projects are part of the 1050 MW wind component under the 500 MW REMCL RTC Project. The Vanki project is located in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat, and the Jamjodhpur project in Jamnagar, Gujarat. With these additions, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group has increased to 10,977.23 MW from the previous 10,920.53 MW.
