NTPC Ltd and MAHAGENCO's Resolution Plan for Sinner Thermal Power Limited Approved by NCTL

NTPC Ltd and MAHAGENCO's Resolution Plan for Sinner Thermal Power Limited, a company undergoing Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, has been approved by the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal, Delhi, on 28th November 2025. The Resolution Plan, submitted by the Consortium, is for a Coal based thermal power plant of 5X270 MW (1350MW) capacity at Sinnar, Nashik, Maharashtra. The implementation of the resolution plan is contingent upon the terms outlined in the Resolution Plan and approval order of NCLT, Delhi, as applicable under the prevailing laws.
