Oil India Subsidiary Signs 4 Waste-to-Energy MoUs in Haryana

OIL Green Energy Limited (OGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Oil India Limited (OIL), has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with four Municipalities in Haryana: Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar, and Ambala. These MoUs are for the development of four Integrated Waste-to-Clean-Energy Projects. The projects aim to process 5,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste daily, producing approximately 70-75 TPD of Compressed Biogas (CBG) and 50 MW of green power. This initiative aligns with Haryana's waste management goals and India's Waste-to-Wealth and circular economy objectives, supporting OIL's expansion into low-carbon energy solutions.
