Bharatam Ventures Limited (formerly Pet Plastics Ltd) has successfully completed the acquisition of 99.9987% equity stake in Penganga Sakhar Karkhana Private Limited. The acquisition, valued at ₹1,79,99,760 for 1,49,998 equity shares at ₹120 per share, makes Penganga Sakhar Karkhana a subsidiary of Bharatam Ventures. This strategic move diversifies Bharatam Ventures' business into the sugar and allied agro-processing sector, with expectations of long-term opportunities and operational synergies. The transaction was completed on an arm's length basis, with no related party involvement. Penganga Sakhar Karkhana reported revenues of ₹8,352.89 Lakhs in FY 2025-26.
