PI Industries gets registration for India's first indigenously discovered insecticide

PI Industries Ltd has been granted registration for 'Pioxaniliprole', India's first indigenously discovered insecticide, under section 9(3) of the Insecticides Act, 1968. The registration was published on September 21, 2026. Developed over a decade, this molecule, branded as 'Pioxazon', marks a significant milestone for PI in Agri Sciences. It will be launched in India soon to address farmers' needs for improved crop productivity.
