PFC Sells Kakinada I Transmission to Power Grid for ₹20.5 Cr

Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC) has completed the transfer of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kakinada I Transmission Limited, to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. The sale, finalized on June 29, 2026, for a consideration of ₹20,50,66,293, marks the divestment of the SPV established for the "Transmission system for proposed Green Hydrogen / Green Ammonia projects in Kakinada area (Phase-I)". The transaction is not a slump sale and does not fall under related party transactions. The consideration was determined as per guidelines from the Ministry of Power.
