Power Grid Appoints Akhilesh Pathak as Director (Projects)

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd announced the appointment of Shri Akhilesh Pathak as Director (Projects) on its Board. The appointment, effective September 30, 2026, was approved by the Board following an order from the Ministry of Power. Shri Pathak's tenure will last until his superannuation on May 31, 2028, or until further orders. He assumes charge from Shri Burra Vamsi Rama Mohan, who relinquished the additional charge. Shri Pathak, an Electrical & Electronics Engineering graduate with over 32 years of experience in the power sector, previously served as Executive Director, OSD (Projects) at POWERGRID. He is not related to any existing Directors or Key Managerial Personnel and is not debarred from holding office.
