Premier Energies forms BESS JV with RCT Energy

Premier Energies Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Premier Battery Technologies Private Limited (PBTPL), has entered into a binding Term Sheet with RCT Energy India Private Limited (RCT India) to establish Premier Energies Storage Solutions Private Limited (PESSPL). This strategic joint venture will set up a 12 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility, with an initial phase of a 6 GWh plant in Telangana, expected by FY 27-28. The JV aims to cater to commercial, industrial, and utility-scale BESS applications. PBTPL will hold an 85% stake, with an option for RCT India to increase its 15% stake to 20%.
