RailTel LoA Cancelled for ₹20.35 Cr Himachal Education Project

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has announced the cancellation of a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) received from the Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh. The LoA was for the establishment of a MIS-Central Dashboard System for Higher Education Institutions in the state, with an estimated order value of ₹20,35,24,096 (including tax). The cancellation is attributed to the financial non-viability of the project and the non-availability or non-collection of requisite funds for its implementation. This development impacts a significant potential contract for RailTel.
