Energy In Motion partners with HPCL for EV charging infra

Ravindra Energy Limited's associate, Energy In Motion Limited (EIM), has partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to establish and operate fast charging and battery swapping infrastructure for electric heavy commercial vehicles at HPCL's retail outlets across India. The agreement aims to deploy swap-cum-charge hubs on key freight corridors within the next 18-24 months. EIM will manage the battery inventory and hardware, while HPCL will provide retail space and utilities. This collaboration seeks to address charging reliability and long-distance route confidence for EV operators, accelerating the adoption of electric heavy commercial vehicles.
