Ravindra Energy to merge with Energy In Motion
Ravindra Energy Limited (REL) announced a proposed merger with its associate company, Energy In Motion Limited (EIM), to create an integrated clean energy and electric mobility platform. EIM, jointly controlled by REL and J M Baxi Group, focuses on electric mobility solutions for heavy commercial transportation. The combined entity will offer integrated solutions including electric heavy commercial vehicles, battery-as-a-service, charging infrastructure, and renewable energy supply. Following the merger, J M Baxi Group will become a co-promoter of REL, and REL will be renamed 'Energy In Motion Limited' subject to approvals. The merged entity will also fully own EIM Megaplex Limited, which operates battery-swapping stations and charging infrastructure. This strategic move aims to leverage REL's renewable energy expertise with EIM's electric mobility platform to capitalize on the electrification and decarbonisation of heavy commercial transport.
