REC Ltd Appoints Two Independent Directors

REC Ltd has announced the appointment of Dr. Anil Kumar Gupta and Dr. Kanchiappan Ghayathri Devi as Part-time Non-Official (Independent) Directors to its Board. The appointments, effective June 22, 2026, are for a period of three months or until further orders. Both directors have confirmed they are not debarred from holding directorships by any SEBI or other authority order. Dr. Gupta is an environmentalist and philanthropist with extensive experience in sustainability and governance, while Dr. Devi is a medical practitioner with a background in public service, including roles as an MLA and OSD to the Ministry of Environment and Forests.
