REC Ltd's subsidiary, RECPDCL, has sold its entire shareholding in Hampapura Power Transmission Limited and Mekhali Power Transmission Limited to Resonia Limited and Dilip Buildcon Limited, respectively. The sales were completed on May 30, 2026, following a tariff-based competitive bidding process. The consideration received was ₹8,60,77,476 for Hampapura and ₹8,05,99,524 for Mekhali, inclusive of taxes, professional fees, and expenses. These SPVs are no longer subsidiaries of RECPDCL or REC Limited.
