REC Sells Musalgaon Power Transmission SPV for ₹2.09 Cr

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has completed the sale and transfer of its entire shareholding in Musalgaon Power Transmission Limited. The transaction, which includes all assets and liabilities, was finalized on September 9, 2026, for a consideration of ₹2,08,99,930 (including taxes). The successful bidder is Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited. This divestment means Musalgaon Power Transmission Limited is no longer a subsidiary of RECPDCL or REC Limited. The transaction is not considered a related party transaction and is not a slump sale.
