Reliance Power: Avinash Gupta Appointed as Independent Director

Reliance Power Ltd's board meeting on May 21, 2026, approved the appointment of Dr. Avinash Gupta as an Additional Director in the capacity of Independent Director for a 5-year term, subject to member approval. Additionally, M/s Kailash Chand Jain & Co. were appointed as the Statutory Auditor for five years, also pending member approval. The board also approved seeking authorization to raise up to ₹6,000 crore through equity or related instruments and ₹3,000 crore via debentures.
