Saatvik Solar Signs MoU with Odisha Govt for 3.6 GW Phase II Cell Facility

Saatvik Solar Industries Private Limited, a subsidiary of Saatvik Green Energy Ltd, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Odisha to establish a 3.6 GW solar cell manufacturing facility at Gopalpur, Ganjam district. This Phase II expansion will complement the ongoing Phase I facility, which includes 2.4 GW of cell and 4 GW of module manufacturing capacity and is nearing commissioning. The new facility aims to boost Odisha's renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem, create employment, and strengthen India's solar value chain. Phase I is expected to commence operations shortly, with Phase II targeted for commercial production by FY28.
