Samrat Forgings Ltd Receives Order to Conclude Proceedings Under Section 73 of SGST/CGST Act, 2017

Samrat Forgings Ltd has received an order from the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, Mohali, for concluding the proceedings under section 73 of the SGST/CGST Act, 2017. The order was issued in response to a Show Cause Notice received on September 30, 2025, alleging non-declaration of correct tax liability in its returns filed for Financial Year 2021-22. The Company has paid an amount of Rs. 17,960/- as tax and Rs. 57,100/- as interest against delayed payment of GST. The demand raised in the Show Cause Notice has been dropped, concluding the proceedings with no further demand.
