Schaeffler India Appoints Chetan Kumar Maini as Independent Director

Schaeffler India Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Chetan Kumar Maini as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Independent Director) effective July 1, 2026. The appointment, recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, is for a period of five years, concluding on June 30, 2031. This appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Concurrently, Mr. Christophe Hannequin has been appointed as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Non-Independent Director) also effective July 1, 2026, pending shareholder approval. The company has also approved a Postal Ballot notice to seek shareholder consent for these appointments.
