Schneider Electric Infrastructure Revises Capex to ₹291.2 Cr
Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited's Board of Directors has approved revisions to capital expenditure for capacity enhancement at its Kolkata Medium Voltage Components (KMVC) facility. The total revised capital expenditure now stands at ₹291.2 Crores. This includes an increase from ₹138 Crores to ₹184 Crores for enhancing Medium Voltage (MV) Vacuum Interrupters capacity from 180,000 to 250,000 units per annum, and an increase from ₹90.6 Crores to ₹107.2 Crores for establishing a Mechanism Assembly Line. These revisions are aimed at aligning with the company's manufacturing localization strategy, export growth plans, and business continuity objectives. The capacity enhancements are expected to be completed by the first quarter of FY 2028-29.
