Venus Pipes Commissions 6.1 MW Solar Unit, Adds ₹6 Cr Savings

Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd has announced the commissioning of an additional 6.1 MW DC solar power unit at Dhaneti, Gujarat. This investment of approximately ₹22 crores is projected to yield annual power cost savings of around ₹6 crores. The new unit increases the company's total solar power capacity to 7.4 MW DC. This expansion aims to reduce reliance on conventional energy sources, enhance energy efficiency, and lower overall power costs, reinforcing the company's commitment to sustainable manufacturing and increasing renewable energy usage in its operations. The Managing Director highlighted this as a key step towards improving cost efficiency and building a sustainable manufacturing platform.
