Shreeji Shipping acquires two mini bulk carriers for ₹55.66 Cr
Shreeji Shipping Global Ltd has strategically acquired two Mini Bulk Carrier vessels, M.V. Gautam BSTAR II and M.V. Sanghi Sudarshan, from Gautam Freight Private Limited for an aggregate consideration of ₹55,66,05,000/- (inclusive of GST). The Vessel Purchase Agreements were executed on April 28, 2026, with delivery scheduled on or before May 1, 2026. These ICV-classed vessels, totaling 8,810.80 DWT, will significantly expand the company's fleet and strengthen its operational presence in the coastal shipping corridor. Their low draft profile allows access to tidal and draft-restricted minor ports, enhancing cargo movement opportunities and making coastal logistics more efficient and cost-competitive. This acquisition is anticipated to improve fleet utilization, optimize operating economics, and contribute positively to the company’s revenue, profitability, and long-term value creation.
