Simplex Castings Signs 25-Year Solar PPA, Saves ₹2.16 Cr Annually

Simplex Castings Limited has entered into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Natraj Energy for a 5.5 MWp captive solar power project in Chhattisgarh. This agreement will supply renewable electricity to Simplex Castings' manufacturing facilities, leading to estimated annual energy cost savings of approximately ₹2.16 Crores. The company will save close to ₹6 per unit compared to the previous ₹9 per unit from the conventional grid. The arrangement is structured to be cash-neutral for Simplex Castings, with Natraj Energy managing the project development, operations, and maintenance.
