Steel Exchange India Hits Record Re-Bar Production
Steel Exchange India Limited has achieved its highest-ever monthly and quarterly production of Re-Bars. In September 2026, the company produced 25,095.035 Metric Tonnes (MT), surpassing the previous record of 24,823.509 MT in August 2026. For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, production reached 69,617.424 MT. This significant achievement is attributed to the successful commissioning and operationalization of the Reheating Furnace (RHF), which has enhanced production capabilities and Rolling Mill utilization. The RHF contributed substantially to the record output, with 7,417.380 MT in September. The company expects this increased production capacity to be sustained, focusing on improving capacity utilization and meeting growing demand for its SIMHADRI TMT brand.
