Suzlon's S175 Turbine Secures First 105 MW Order from Sunsure Energy

Suzlon Energy has announced a significant commercial debut for its S175 (5.0 MW) wind turbine, securing a 105 MW order from Sunsure Energy. This marks Sunsure's third order with Suzlon in 14 months, bringing their cumulative partnership to 400.8 MW. The project, involving 21 S175 wind turbine generators, will be executed in the Bijapur district of Karnataka. The S175 turbine, featuring a 175-meter rotor and a 160-meter hybrid lattice tower, is designed for higher energy yields and improved project economics, unlocking new wind frontiers. This order underscores customer confidence in Suzlon's technology and innovation.
