
TMB Q1 FY27 Net Profit Surges 34.97% YoY to ₹411.51 Cr
Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd (TMB) announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The bank reported a significant 34.97% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching ₹411.51 crore compared to ₹304.89 crore in the same period last year. Total business grew by 23.04% YoY to ₹1,21,715 crore. Deposits increased by 19.71% YoY to ₹64,409 crore, while advances grew by 27.01% YoY to ₹57,306 crore. The bank also saw improvements in asset quality, with Net NPA improving to 0.17% and Gross NPA to 0.69%. The MD & CEO expressed confidence in continued sustainable growth, driven by a strong balance sheet, diversified portfolio, and focus on deepening customer relationships and digital capabilities.
