Tata Motors Sanand Plants Face Flooding Disruption

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd has announced a temporary disruption of operations at its Sanand Plants in Gujarat due to severe flooding caused by heavy rainfall. The disruption also affects suppliers' facilities in the region. The plants manufacture Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, and Sierra models. The company is actively working to reinstate production and is confident of restoring normalcy within the next few days. An adequate insurance policy is in place to cover flood-related damages, and the quantum of loss is currently being assessed.
