Tata Steel India Production Up 10% YoY to 6.21 MT in 2QFY27

Tata Steel reported provisional production and delivery volumes for the second quarter of FY2027. Tata Steel India's crude steel production increased by 10% year-on-year to 6.21 million tons, driven by higher output at Jamshedpur and Kalinganagar. Deliveries in India rose 7% YoY to 5.97 million tons, supported by an enriched product mix. The 'Automotive & Special Products' and 'Branded Products & Retail' verticals achieved their best-ever 2Q and quarterly volumes, respectively. Tata Steel Netherlands saw production of 1.52 million tons and deliveries of 1.30 million tons. Tata Steel UK's deliveries were impacted by inventory buildup, totaling 0.38 million tons. Tata Steel Thailand produced 0.32 million tons and delivered 0.31 million tons.
