
Tera Software Ltd. Wins Legal Battle Against GST Demand Order of Rs. 12 Crores
Tera Software Ltd. has announced that a writ petition filed against a GST Demand Order has been disposed of by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. The demand order, dated 15-11-2025, was for an amount of Rs. 12,04,76,230/- including tax, interest, and penalty under the applicable provisions of the Act. The petition, WP/0006870/2026, was filed on 10-03-2026 and the order was passed without costs. The Company noticed the status of disposal on 13-03-2026 on the High Court's website. The alleged discrepancies were related to excess claim of Input Tax Credit (ITC) and under-declaration of output tax in GSTR-3B vis-3-vis GSTR-1 for the period July 2017 to August 2019. The Company has stated that there is no material impact on its financial or operational activities.
