Rajapalayam Mills Pledges 7.06 Lakh Ramco Cements Shares

Rajapalayam Mills Ltd has created a pledge on 7,05,800 equity shares of The Ramco Cements Limited, equivalent to 0.30% of the total share capital. This is in addition to an existing pledge of 4,00,000 equity shares. The new pledge was made in favour of TATA Capital Limited on July 23, 2026, as security for borrowing. This disclosure is made in compliance with SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. The total promoter holding in Ramco Cements is 42.56%, with a significant portion now encumbered.
