Ramco Cements Q2FY27 Revenue Up 10% YoY to ₹2,466 Cr
The Ramco Cements Ltd reported a 10% year-on-year increase in net revenue for Q2FY27, reaching ₹2,466 crores from ₹2,242 crores in Q2FY26. Cement sale volume grew by 8% to 4.74 million tons, despite monsoon disruptions. The construction chemicals business saw significant growth with a 38% rise in sales volume to 2.04 lakh tons and a 50% increase in net revenue to ₹130.77 crores. However, EBITDA declined by 16% to ₹331 crores due to increased fuel and packing material costs, exacerbated by geopolitical events in West Asia and rupee depreciation. A new Mineral Bearing Land Tax imposed by Tamil Nadu also impacted costs. The company continues its expansion plans, aiming for ~31 MTPA cement capacity by Mar-27 and plans a new construction chemicals unit by Q2FY28. Capex for FY27 is guided at ₹800 crores.
