Titagarh Rail Systems Bags ₹1716.9 Cr Additional Wagon Order

Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd has received an additional contract from the Ministry of Railways for the manufacture and supply of 4,955 BOXNHL wagons. This order, valued at ₹1716.90 crores plus GST, is an exercise of the option clause in the original contract. The wagons will be supplied on the same price, terms, and conditions as the initial order. The execution and delivery period for this amendment is scheduled within 222 days, by June 7, 2027. The total amended value of the contract, including this additional quantity, now stands at ₹10,404.10 Crores (inclusive of GST). This significant order further strengthens the company's order book in the railway rolling stock segment.
