Torrent Green Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of Torrent Power Limited, has successfully commissioned 322 MWp of ground-mounted decentralized solar power projects across Nashik district, Maharashtra. These projects are part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0, a scheme for feeder-level solarisation under Component-C of the PM-KUSUM scheme. The solar portfolio, spread across 50 locations and 14 talukas, is one of the most extensive agricultural feeder solarization projects under MSKVY. Power will be supplied to MSEDCL under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement, aiming to provide daytime electricity to farmers, enhance grid efficiency, and reduce distribution losses. This milestone reinforces Torrent Power's commitment to India's clean energy transition and supporting the agricultural sector.
