Torrent Power Appoints Vikas Poddar as New CFO, Saurabh Mashruwala Retires

Torrent Power Ltd announced a change in its Chief Financial Officer role. Saurabh Mashruwala has resigned from his position as CFO and Whole Time Key Managerial Personnel due to planned retirement, effective August 20, 2026. The Board of Directors has accepted his resignation and approved the appointment of Vikas Poddar as the new CFO and Whole Time Key Managerial Personnel, effective August 21, 2026. Mashruwala will continue with the company as ED until a smooth transition. Poddar brings over 27 years of experience, including his recent role as CFO at Indus Towers.
