United Spirits: FSSAI revokes product sale order; no material impact

United Spirits Ltd has announced that the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has revoked its earlier order dated June 29, 2026, which had restricted the sale of a product manufactured at the company's Baramati Unit. The Revocation Order was received on August 18, 2026. This revocation is significant as it relates to the product that was the subject of a Writ Petition filed by the company before the Bombay High Court. The company stated that there is no material operational or financial impact due to this development. United Spirits maintains that its product labels comply with current legal frameworks and industry practices.
