UNO Minda Approves ₹155 Cr Plant, ₹510 Cr Expansion, ₹670 Cr JV Facility
UNO Minda's Board of Directors approved several significant expansion and investment initiatives. Key approvals include a new Alloy Wheel plant for the AW2W division at Kharkhoda, Haryana, with an estimated capex of INR 155 Crore, involving relocation of existing capacity. The company also greenlit a new Casting Division plant at Hosur, Tamil Nadu, for INR 510 Crores, and capacity expansion at its subsidiary Uno Minda Kyoraku Limited's Bengaluru plant for INR 80 Crores. Additionally, an associate, Toyoda Gosei South India Private Limited, will set up a facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, with an estimated capex of INR 670 Crores. The Board also approved the issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures up to INR 600 Crores and Commercial Papers up to INR 500 Crores.
