VA Tech Wabag Bags Mega Desalination Plant Order from RIL

VA Tech Wabag (WABAG) has secured a significant order from Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) to design, engineer, supply, install, and commission a large-scale desalination plant with a capacity of 8,400 m3/hr, expandable to 12,600 m3/hr (302 MLD), and a 3,000 m3/hr Remineralization Plant at Jamnagar, Gujarat. This 'Mega' order underscores RIL's trust in WABAG's technological capabilities and execution track record. The desalination plant will incorporate advanced technologies including Lamella Clarifiers, DAFF, UF, SWRO, and BWRO systems. The Remineralization Plant will utilize a limestone-based process. This contract is expected to further strengthen WABAG's position in the global desalination market.
