Vardhman Polytex: ₹1 Cr Part Repayment of OCDs

Vardhman Polytex Ltd has made a part repayment of ₹1,00,00,000 (Rupee One Crore only) towards its secured, unlisted, redeemable, and optionally convertible debentures (OCDs) held by Special Situation India Fund. Out of this amount, ₹1,61,920.62 was applied as a pro-rata reduction in the face value/principal amount of each of the 1,500 outstanding OCDs. The remaining ₹98,38,079.38 was paid as interest. As a result, the face value/principal per OCD has decreased from ₹83,333.33 to ₹83,225.39, and the aggregate principal amount of OCDs has reduced from ₹12,50,00,000 to ₹12,48,38,079.38. The balance principal amount of the OCDs after this repayment is ₹12,48,38,079.38.
